Jack The Bear (USA, 1993)

The plot: Ending up near the bottom of the ladder, having been fired by one television station after another, a recently widowed father with a alcohol problem and his two young sons move from New York to the California suburbs during the early 1970s. They find themselves coping with hardship of adolescence and frightening incidents which occur in the neighborhood, all the while growing closer as a family.

Note: Danny DeVito drives a 1962 Plymouth Valiant.
